A Teacher

A teacher somewhere in your neighborhood tonight is preparing lessons to teach your children while you are watching television. In the minute it takes you to read this, teachers all over the world are sacrificing their own time and more often than not, investing their own money for ...your child's literacy, prosperity,...... and future. Re-post if you are a teacher, like a teacher, or appreciate a teacher

In my opinion the statement above is just too humble. I'm married to one of those teachers. A teacher who busts her ass every single day for your students. I like to think she is unique and Mary is in many ways but like so many others she signed up to be a teacher out of passion. It wasn't for the money, it wasn't for recognition it was for the passion of people and kids. I'm going to be very blunt here. For many kids out there and hopefully yours are not included, a teacher is all they have. For others of you out there, you put all the pressure of your kids success on the teachers. You do not take the responsibility you need to take.

Late at night while many of you are sleeping cell phones all over the world are ringing. Those phone calls are students calling their teachers for help with homework and sometimes help with a life situation.

The next time you see a teacher at school, at the grocery store or in the gym, say thanks. It will go a long way!

It's a good life...
Dave
